• 1. What Services Does SMC Offer?

  We are a full-service Surrogacy Agency; we do not just match you we like to go all the way to the delivery day and assist you with all the logistics in between. We match and clear you with a qualified gestational carrier. We coordinate with your IVF/REI Clinic on all matters during your surrogacy journey. We assist and coordinate the Legal, Psych, and Medical Processes needed in surrogacy. We have a direct Escrow Management company (Surrogacy Miracles Escrow Management) to manage the financial matters of surrogacy successfully. We offer home visits and doula services for our clients as well.

• 2. How much does surrogacy cost?

  With surrogacy, there is no one dollar amount. On average surrogacy costs $90K-$150K. Some Intended Parents can have a streamlined process and it only costs $75K-90K. Worst case scenario with multiple determining factors it could cost $150K. During the consultation, we can review the driving factors in cost and how we can try and help you save money during your surrogacy journey.

• 3. How long does a surrogacy journey take?

  The pre-work for surrogacy can take about 6 months. On average surrogacy journeys overall take about 15-18 months. Remember your GC is pregnant for 40 weeks. We tell our intended parents to give themselves 2 years.

• 4. What are the gestational carrier requirements for our program?
  • Permanent resident in a surrogacy-friendly state
  • 21-42 years of age
  • Overall good health and clearance from OB-GYN medical provider
  • Delivery of at least one child with no complications
  • Cleared 10 years of background checks
  • Pass a drug test
  • Review of complete medical records
  • Pass mental health consultation
  • Pass medical evaluation
  • Complete a home visit
  • Pass IVF Clinic specific requirements
• 5. Is there any genetic connection between the gestational carrier and the baby?

  In Gestational Surrogacy there is no genetic connection to the gestational carrier and the intended baby. There is less than 5% of blood transmission during delivery with a surrogacy pregnancy. In traditional surrogacy, the egg belongs to the carrier and there is a genetic connection.

• 6. What prevents the gestational carrier from running off with my baby?

  There are legal restrictions that prevent the gestational carrier from running off with the baby. We look at the Gestational Carrier’s previous paper trail and create one in surrogacy as well. Nothing is 100%, but we put a lot of work into the screening process to avoid having a situation like this.

• 7. What is Surrogacy Miracles Agency Fee out of the Total Cost?

  Our Agency Fee is $30K and we allow this to be paid in installments. Call us and stay in contact to check out our promotions.

  Our current evaluated success rate is 89% and we are one of the Top 5 Surrogacy Agencies in GA. We stand out to many being a group of healthcare professionals who understand the Healthcare aspect of surrogacy and have team members who have been gestational carriers themselves. We pride ourselves on our customer service and making sure each client has the attention needed when going through surrogacy. We do not want you feeling like a number when communicating with us about surrogacy. Each Client is given a Case Manager and they directly will have easy access to communication on what is happening with their journey.

• 9. Who does SMC Support?

  SMC Supports all family types that have a heart to want a child. We support Heterosexual, LGBTQ Community, and Single Parents. We will review your profile and needs to best determine how we can assist you in parenthood. We collaborate with Intended Parents in all fifty states and internationally. Even though we are a Georgia Agency we have gestational carriers in all surrogacy-friendly states.

• 11. Surrogacy Friendly States

  California, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Delaware, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Nevada, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Missouri, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, North Carolina, North Dakota, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Wisconsin, West Virginia. (Surrogacy permitted – Pre-Birth Order issued and both intended parents will be named on the birth certificate).

• 12. Semi Surrogacy Friendly States

  Idaho, New York, Tennessee, Virginia, and Wyoming. (Surrogacy is practiced, but potential legal battles may arise).

• 13. Non-friendly Surrogate States

  Arizona, Indiana (Surrogacy practiced and birth orders issued. Unable to have a surrogacy contract that is recognized by the courts). Louisiana, Nebraska (Law prohibits compensated surrogacy contracts. Birth Certificates listing intended parents unable to obtain).

• 14. Match Time Frame

  Our current match time frame is 3–6 months and depends on your matching preferences.
